Who We Are
The Team: We're a small, family-founded outfit.
Mark Williams — Co-founder. Mark spent his career as a business owner and a CFO in tech, which mostly means he's the one who makes sure the bags actually get made, paid for, and where they're going. He handles the parts that aren't glamorous so the work can be.
Toni Haas-Williams — Co-founder & Author. Toni has spent more than forty years around children, nature, and stories — with degrees in education and literature to match. She writes the Kids and Planet books under the pen name T.C. Haas.
Zane Haas — Director of Operations. A graduate of the Bill Munday School of Business at St. Edward's University, Zane runs the day-to-day — the logistics, the partners, the moving pieces that turn a good intention into a backpack in a child's hands.
Our Partners: The partners are the story. We work with more than fifty organizations around the world — each one knows the children we serve better than we ever could, so we follow their lead on who needs what.
