Ranjit lives in The Beautiful Forest, and he is happy to face its adventures until one day, when he barely escapes a Bengal Tiger, he realizes that the world of books beyond offers a bigger dream for tomorrow with much better odds.

Through artful illustrations and captivating storytelling, children will be transported to the Sundarbans while learning about a culture different from their own. This book not only entertains but also inspires empathy and understanding for children living in challenging circumstances around the world.

A special feature of this book is the QR code that links readers to a donation page where children can contribute as little as $1 to help children like Ranjit. This unique interactive element helps instill a pattern of generosity in young readers.

"My Tiny Tiger" is the second book in the Kids and Planet series from Oceanbags Foundation, following the adventures begun in "Good to Go." Each book in this series is carefully researched to provide authentic cultural insights while inspiring children to develop hearts of giving toward fellow humans, creatures, and our planet.

I absolutely loved the book. The insights are resounding and fundamental, without an ounce of triteness.

A dream bigger than the forest, bigger than the ocean. We are talking about what you do with your whole life, Ranjit.” However long ago it may have been, Ranjit recalled to me the intrepid, yet also shortsighted, imagination of my primary school self. However, unlike Ranjit, education was a given for me; transported by the swimming, soaring, running illustrations to the Beautiful Forest, I realized how much my education revealed depth and breadth of reality and possibility I had not imagined. My Tiny Tiger inspires me to share in joy and thanksgiving the gift of learning!

This book teaches that a child should have respect for their family and their traditions.  Even so, parents want their children to have a better life than they have lived. Knowledge is powerful and can make dreams come true. Talking with children about education and how it can unlock doors for them is very important.

My Tiny Tiger is an incredibly sweet story about one young boy's journey. Whether encountering tigers or life learning, this book captures it all. The colorful illustrations bring each moment to life with their special and distinctive style. Children all around the world will be left feeling not only extremely grateful for what they have, but also deeply touched by the inspiring words written carefully by this amazing author.

One of the sweetest reads I've ever read. The journey with Ranjit in the beautiful forest where his loving family works hard just to eat.  Ranjit knows a lot about hunger and his stomach roars like a tiger from hunger. When Ranjit is given the opportunity to go to school and learn how to provide for his family in other ways, the roar from the tiger in his stomach becomes tiny. I highly recommend this book to help open our eyes to see and understand other cultures and be grateful for the blessings we have.  Also, the artwork is amazing!
