Where kids learn to care about kids and their planet

… one story at a time.

Hand-illustrated books, in a tote worth carrying, handed to teachers at low-income schools.

Somewhere near you there’s a teacher at a low income school holding a clasroom together, buying the pencils with her own money, and nobody thanks her.

We do

We hand her a serious bag, the kind you’d buy for yourself. Inside are five hardcover picture books, written by T.C. Haas after going with our team and experiencing the plight of these children around the world. These are for their classroom collection to help inspire the children to care for one another.

Beautiful books with a message

Each of our books were hand-illustrated by J.L. Geall, a South-African single father of three, who gave us books that are just a beautiful as the message they carry! All printed on renewable bamboo paper!

You choose a community

A school, a district, a city, or the program as a whole. Anywhere we can reach!

How it lands

We work through local partners

The person handing her the bag is someone her school already trusts. If you would like, the tag also carries your name.

The gift keeps working!

The tote stays with the teacher. The five books become a part of the classroom library: beautiful adventures that open them up to the wider world!

Thank a teacher near you!
